It has been so blooming hot and humid here that I decided to take a cool approach this week.  The water is cooling and refreshing, and I love the breeze the swing gives!

52 Weeks of Color - Electric Blue

Well, no hair for this weeks post.  I was bid bald during and event for RFL in SL. Great cause four of us went bald and raised about $25,000L  not bad I might say.

This was an interesting color this week, I had no electric blue in my inventory.  I ended up putting together this outfit, and had a lot of fun doing it.

RFL Event for Team Rays of Hope

I relay for myself and all the others out there who are currently fighting cancer, and for those who  have lost their battle.  I want to help to keep others from hearing the dreaded words "you have cancer."  On March 12, 2011, I was diagnosed with Ovarian cancer, and on March 21st I had major surgery.  The Doctor removed 99.9% of the cancer he saw during the surgery.  I am now undergoing chemo one day a week to kill off the remaining cancer.

On Sunday, June 26, 2011 from 1-8PM SLT Cafe Casablanca is hosting Celebration of Life - an event for Relay For Life in Second Life.  It will be a beach party with a mix of DJ's and live performers, and a broad variety of music genres.  The main focus of Celebration of Life will be to bid  Cafe Casablanca owners (Conlaoch and NytEyes Gustav), myself and my SL/RL husband, Sean Qendra,  bald.  So please - if you can - join us in our fight to rid the world of this devastating disease. 



 This event will not only support ACS but is also in support of my going bald in RL from treatment.  ( I have wonderfully supportive friends in SL)

  Join us Sunday, June 26th to Celebrate those who have won their battle against cancer, those still fighting and those who are gone from us.

This will be an event like you've never seen at Cafe Casablanca. A little rock, a little bluegrass, a little country, some blues and of course..jazz and American Standards!

And! As if that wasn't enough..... beginning Monday, June 20th....you can start adding to the kiosks to Bid the Cafe Casablanca Staff Bald! Yes, you saw that right! Con with NO HAT!!! Sean, Veronica and Nyte with no hair from the 26th right up to the actual Relay July 16th!

So come party on the beach with us, stop in during the week and bid us bald! Let's make this the last year we have to Relay!!
